# Editing a Business Type

Registry Administrators can manage the Business Types of their organization.

1. Navigate to the **Business Types** page from the sidebar.

2. Click the three-dot menu next to the Business Type and select **Edit**.

3. The Business Type opens for editing. Change the fields you need:

   | Field           | Description                                                                                                                                                                       | Can be changed |
   | --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------- |
   | Code            | The unique identifier of the Business Type.                                                                                                                                       | No             |
   | Label           | The display label, with one field per installed locale. The default locale is required.                                                                                           | Yes            |
   | Label Attribute | The attribute whose value is used as the display label of each business object, for example a Name attribute. Choose from the Business Type's attributes.                         | Yes            |
   | Organization    | The organization that manages the Business Type.                                                                                                                                  | No             |
   | Attributes      | The attributes stored for each business object. See [Managing attributes of a Business Type](/version/v2.0.0/configure/business-types/managing-attributes-of-a-business-type.md). | Yes            |
4. Click **Submit**.

## Other options

The three-dot menu next to a Business Type also has:

* **View Data**, which opens a table of the business objects of that type.
* **Import History**, which lists the imports into that type.
