6.4.2.3. Editing the metadata of a Geo-Object Type

Registry Administrators can edit the metadata of Geo-Object Types under the curation mandate of their organization

To edit the metadata of a Geo-Object Type:

1. Go to the Geo-Objects and Hierarchies module either by clicking the Geo-Objects and Hierarchies module icon in the main menu page or by clicking the hamburger menu () in the upper right corner and selecting Geo-Objects and Hierarchies.\

   
2. If needed, expand the Geo-Object Types column on the sidebar by clicking the arrow at the end.\

   
3. Scroll down the Geo-Object Types column to the organization you are a part of. Find the Geo-Object Type you want to edit the metadata of and click the Edit button () beside its name.\

   
4. The Manage Geo-Object Type window will open. Edit the Geo-Object Type information as necessary.\

   
5. Click the Submit button.
