# 3.4.6. Uninstall a locale

Existing locales can be uninstalled through the Settings module.

1. Navigate to the **Settings** page and scroll to the Localization section.\\

2. Click on the garbage bin icon next to the locale you want to uninstall. A modal appears asking you to confirm whether you want to delete (uninstall) the locale.\\

3. Click **Delete** to confirm and the locale will be uninstalled.
